The League of American Bicyclists has named the City of Richardson a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Community. The City’s first bike lanes were opened in 2009 and since then more than 20 miles of bike lanes have been added throughout the community. The IQ® has approximately 3.89 miles of dedicated bike lanes with another 3.37 miles planned in the future. This includes Greenville Avenue, which is the longest protected bike lane in North Texas.
