The IQ Brew: Dr. David Lary, The University of Texas at Dallas
IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL EVENT
The IQ Brew is a networking and educational series featuring short presentations from entrepreneurs, small businesses and subject-matter experts. The goal of The IQ Brew is to share lessons learned and to have the Richardson business community hear about the successes and challenges faced while starting and growing a business. Come join us for coffee and conversation every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month!
On Thursday, September 23, The IQ® will kick off a 5 series feature of the UT Dallas research teams that will have a footprint in the new IQ® Headquarters. These new centers, which are part of the UT Dallas Center for Emergent Novel Technology, were awarded seed grant funding from the UT Dallas Office of Research and will anchor a public presence in the Richardson Innovation Quarter.
Our first IQ® Brew UT Dallas Series will feature Dr. David Lary, PI for the Multi-scale Integrated Interactive Intelligent Sensing Center. The overall mission of this center is to use machine learning to holistically bring together multiple massive environmental datasets to provide advanced decision support tools addressing a range of significant issues such as droughts and rising global temperatures faced in North Texas and beyond. Come learn about the great work of this center and its plans to engage the Richardson IQ® community.
